As the executive vice president for finance and operations, Jill Harris's work centers on advancing the American Forest Foundation as a strong and high-performing organization via functional alignment and support of vision, strategy and action. Bringing an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach, Jill leads finance, human resources, information technology and operations to provide strategic value and enable AFF’s success.
With extensive senior management experience in strategy, finance, operations and management across the public and private sectors, Jill has helped transform and build capacity in nonprofits spanning international development, early childhood education, youth and workforce development, and animal welfare. She holds a BA in economics from Colby College and an MBA from Stanford University.
Jill loves to spend time with family and be outdoors (especially gardening and in the woods). With two adult sons, Jill and her husband now share their home with a menagerie of two dogs, two cats and one very elderly lizard.
