Meet Cara

Originally from New Jersey, Cara now lives in Washington, D.C. and was a former analyst at Rose Lake Inc. where she oversaw potential investment compliance with the environmental, social, and governance and resilience-related goals of the firm. She has also served at the National Governors Association as a policy analyst in the areas of energy, infrastructure, and environmental policy, helping states identify solutions to policy issues focused on clean energy, energy resilience and emergency preparedness, transportation electrification, and outdoor recreation. In 2021, Cara graduated from Dickinson College. She is thrilled to now serve as a resource for woodland owners near the quaint college town in Pennsylvania that still holds a special place in her heart, as well as those in the greater Central and Southern Appalachian region. Outside of work Cara loves spending time running, baking, reading, and discovering new bike trails.
