Meet our FFCP Account Management Team - Thumbnail

AFF team members on a visit to a woodland enrolled in the Family Forest Carbon Program in Randolph County, WV.

Having worked with family forest owners for decades, we know that decisions regarding your land are not made lightly. They impact your family, your livelihood, and the planet, and it's important that you feel confident in the people you work with and the information you’re given to make those decisions. We recognize that enrollment in a program like the Family Forest Carbon Program (FFCP) is no exception.

For this reason, we wanted to help you get to know our team of FFCP Account Managers, who love learning about your woodland, work hard to answer your questions, and care deeply about our nation’s forests and the health of the planet.

Should you qualify for the Family Forest Carbon Program, one of our Account Managers will guide you through the enrollment process—from confirming it is a good fit for your long-term goals, to ensuring the T’s are crossed and I’s dotted so you receive your first incentive payment.

This is the first post in a series where we'll introduce you to members of our FFCP Account Management team.

Without further ado...

Meet Scott Martin, Senior Account Manager

Scott Martin, FFCP Account Manager

Scott Martin, Senior Account Manager

Scott joined the American Forest Foundation in May of 2022 to lead our small but mighty team of Account Managers. He is passionate about addressing climate change while providing landowners with outstanding customer service, and his team with opportunities for growth and professional development. Outside of work, Scott loves to spend time outdoors with his wife, Aubrey, and their dogs, Padfoot and Otto, hiking, camping, and exploring. They currently live in Hoboken, New Jersey, but often return to Scott’s home state of Michigan to spend time on his family’s 80 acres of farm and forest land.

The Family Forest Carbon Program is now enrolling landowners with 30 acres or more in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Vermont, as well as select counties in Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York and Wisconsin. Click here to check your eligibility today.
