Sara Velazquez, FFCP Account Manager
Today, we're introducing Sara Velazquez. Sara is part of our Family Forest Carbon Program Account Management team. Our program and our staff are an all-around resource for landowners. When you enroll, you’ll receive payments for implementing forest management practices that increase the carbon sequestered and stored on your land. Someone on our Account Management team, like Sara, will help you through the process ever step of the way.

Meet Sara
Sara lives in Northeastern Pennsylvania and previously worked for a land trust in the Upper Delaware River region. In June of 2022 she accepted the position of Account Manager with the American Forest Foundation where she has continued to help protect and care for the region’s woodlands by serving landowners across Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. She and her husband Dan live in an 1800s farmhouse—which they spend most of their spare time trying to fix it up—but always manage to find time for gardening, hiking, kayaking, friends, cooking, and their menagerie of animals.
